Care Services

At Seton Villa, we provide 24-hour staffing (care staff on site at all times). Staff can respond to any emergency situations that may arise, day or night. All residents are given an emergency pendant that can be pressed to directly and immediately contact our Care Department, 24/7.

Costs for subsidized care services are the same as home support in the community. A Fraser Health Case Manager will assess care needs and determine any fee that may be applicable for care services. Privately paid care services are also available and delivered by Seton Villa staff while waiting for assessment.

Alternatively, assistance with personal care needs can be purchased directly from Seton Villa as private pay. In all cases, care is provided by Seton Villa hired, trained and supervised staff. 

  • Bathing, dressing, & toileting

  • Medication management or pharmacy coordination

  • Assistance to/from dining room or tray service

  • Morning & night care

  • Monitoring of vitals (weights and blood pressure)

  • Simple wound dressings and pressure stockings

  • Emergency response

  • Companionship to doctor’s appointments

  • Assistance with oxygen

  • Catheter care

  • Unscheduled care needs

  • Exercises as predetermined by OT/PT

  • Safety checks
